Tipunan is a woman-owned Filipino digital kitchen in Emeryville, CA, founded and passionately operated by Chefs Jojo and Kai Torres Cansino. Together they created Tipunan as a place to share authentic Filipino comfort food, all prepared with love and made fresh to order.
Tipunan offers online ordering for pickup and delivery through DoorDash, onsite ordering from a self-serve kiosk for takeout, and easy options for party trays and catering. At Tipunan you will experience the heart of Filipino home cooking from their famous Kare Kare peanut stew and Lechon Kawali crispy pork belly to the savory Sinigang, flavorful Sisig, crispy Shanghai Lumpia, and hearty Nilaga. "As always, best Filipino food ever. The staff are so helpful! The Crispy Belly (Pork) is always great. Love the vinegar sauce on the side. It's never a miss. The Garlic Rice is just the right amount of garlic and texture is perfect. I like the Adobo (Pork) with the quail eggs. Made me into a person who now serves stuffed quail eggs as an appetizer. Cute, and tasty."

"Nilaga (Beef) omg... this soup was right on time. I added some cabbage and potatoes, so good. Adobo (Pork) tender, flavorful, no room for disappointment. Filipino Spaghetti (Beef) was more sweet than I would've liked. However, add a little hot sauce and spice, and yup yup."
